Physical Description of Character:
Viral is not the tallest around, standing roughly six foot high. His hair is a dull yellow (almost straw-like in color under the right light) and rather unkempt, falling to the middle of his back. His eyes are an eerie yellow, pupils slit like a cat's, giving him better night vision than normal humans. His hands are larger than those of a regular human, too, covered in a thin layer of brownish furr, fingers tipped in semi-retractable claws. His teeth are inhumanly sharp, and rather shark-like in appearance. He's lean, but still packs a punch, is well versed in hand-to-hand combat, and is incredibly adept at swordplay, using his weapon much like an overlarge cleaver - which is present on his person at all times, in one way or another. He usually wears the long deep brown coat, brown slacks, leather hunting boots and red muffler he was wearing in the Anti-Spirals alternate dimensionwhere he met his family-that-might-have-been, but will wear other clothing. The outfit just happens to be the most comfortable he owns.

Personality:
Viral is arrogant, blunt, spiteful, prideful to the utmost extreme. He can hold a grudge for so long almost everyone else forgets about it, and if you make any insult to his pride or abilities, you'd better start running because he will chase you, and if he catches you, beat the ever-loving snot out of you. On the flipside, he's incredibly loyal to his family and friends, and if put under the command of a supepior will obey without question. When he needs to, however, he can put aside his grudges and hate and rage, and co-operate with people who were once his enemies.(see Simon and the Gurren crew after the Anti-Spirals start messing up thier shit) He rarely talks about his past, if ever (being immortal will do that to you) and is prickly and stand-offish for most of the time. His trust is hard to gain, but when you have it you see the other side to the Beastman - incredibly alone and wandering through infinite time without anyone beside him. PAINTS A SAD PICTURE DDD:
History of the Character:
On a hunt for food, he attacks Kamina after they bump into each other reaching for the same bird. After Yoko intervenes he runs back to his Gunman 'Enki', and a fight breacks out between him and Kamina. He manages to overcome Simon and Kamina's attacks, but leaves before the fight ends. The next day, Viral returns to execute his mission as member of the Human Execution Squad, facing off against Kamina and Simon again; this time however, Viral is defeated by the newly formed Gurren-Lagann, barraging it in missiles in order to conceal his escape, swearing revenge on Kamina for his humiliation when he took Enki's helmet in the fight. Viral later returns alongside the Supreme General Thymilph and the Dai-Gunzan to crush Team Gurren with the upgraded Enkidu, however, he is severely injured in the battle, which resulted in the Dai-Gurren's capture and the death of his superior. He tries to obtain another chance to fight, trying to join Supreme General Adiane's side, despite her treating him like garbage - as she blames him for Thymilph's demise. Still, Viral saved Adiane from harm during a fight with Team Dai-Gurren, by stopping the Dai-Gurren's foot from crushing her. After Adiane's death by the Dai-Gurren's attack and being the only survivor of the Dai-Gunkai, Viral curses the Gurren-Lagann and swears to bring pain and punishment to those who killed his two superiors and robbing him of his honor.
Under Supreme General Cytomander's command, Viral took part on the aerial attack on the Dai-Gurren. His battle with the Gurren-Lagann, piloted by Simon and Yoko, extended to the control room of Cytomander's aerial fortress, the Dai-Gunten. There, he finally learned of Kamina's death, and became more infuriated that all those confrontations after where brought by a human child as well - challenging Simon to a one-on-one duel in their mecha. The battle was interrupted by Cytomander, who took Yoko hostage, and ordered Viral to destroy the defenseless Gurren-Lagann. Viral disobeyed, as he knew this outcome would not make him regain his lost pride and honor and for this action, Cytomander asked the Spiral King's permission to execute him for treason - but Viral's last request was hearing from the King himself of what is the true nature of human race. Thus, Lord Genome dispenses Cytomander, taking Viral to a room where he reveals the truth behind the Beastmen's existance before making him immortal. Believing it was to finally obtain his vengeance, Viral uses his modified 'Enkidudu' to attack the Gurren-Lagann when it entered the Spiral King's throne room. However, while being soundly defeated, Lord Genome revealed that the reason he gave Viral immortality was not to fight against Simon, as no Beastman can stand against a human with "Spiral Energy", but to make use of him as an eternal witness to tell of the Spiral King's triumph against Team Dai-Gurren. Lord Genome was defeatead, however, and after the fall of Teppelin, Viral's whereabouts became unknown and he was persumed dead in collapse of the Dekabutsu.
Years later, now wearing a ragged cloak instead of his militant garb, Viral resurfaced and causes an uproar with his Gunmen, calling Simon out to fight him, but Rossiu stepped in and stopped Simon from going after him, sending in their Guraparl force instead. Gimmy and Darry together managed to take down Viral's Enkidudu and take him into custody. When questioned by Simon about why he continues to fight even after the war ended before being sent to Rikone Prison, Viral stated that his intention was to protect a human settlement which refused to leave the underground, leading Simon to learn of Rossiu acting without his consent to count and find out how close mankind's population was from reaching the one million danger level. Simon later runs into Viral when he was sent to Rikon to await his death sentence to be carried out, Viral mocking him until the two get into a brawl. They are then locked in individual cells and left behind as the other jailers and inmates abandon the prison. But when Yoko arrives to bust Simon out, Viral is also released by him and accepts his proposal to join Team Dai-Gurren against the Anti-Spirals as the Gurren's pilot. This position is cemented after the battle, when Simon declares him the Gurren's official pilot in a meeting with the Team members; this title goes uncontested.
After the Anti-Spirals defeat at the hands of the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Viral attends the wedding of Simon and Nia, and is one of the few who calmly watch her disappate. After he and Simon explain the reason, everyone goes thier seperate ways, Simon to wander the planet, Yoko to return to the small school she taught at during the 7-year timeskip (becoming Headmistress in the process), with the rest of the Gurren crew to return to the capital, once again taking up thier various positions in the government. Twenty years after the fact, Viral becomes the commander of the SUper Galaxy Dai Gurren, as the Representative for Earth in the upcoming Spiral Peace Conference.
Magical Powers/Skills: TRUE IMMORTALITY: Eternal youth, almost-instantaneous regeneration, little-to-no-need for sleep/food/rest ect.
Weapons: Apart from the Ganmen, he uses a sort of short, one-edged sword, which looks rather like a cleaver.

It was over. All of it. The Anti-Spirals were dead and gone, and earth was safe and protected from whatever danger it could ever face. Everyone else was gone (long gone, so long ago) and buried, probably just dust by now. All of that fighting for ... this. Emptiness. Hollow.
Alone.
The shark snarled, tearing through the next beast that leapt. How dare they? They were supposed to be the best - nothing else would ever (could ever) compare to the feirce anger that had radiated from Simon when the Tengen Toppa was formed. Hate surged through him. All of that power, gone. All of that indomitable spirit, gone. Just like everything else. Another three monsters collapsed by his hand, blood oozing freely from shattered hide. He felt his arm give, bone splintering under the force of his rage. He narrowed his eyes, casually snapping the broken appendage back into place. In seconds it had knit and healed, leaving him ready for the next wave.
Fine, then. If he was the last, he'd make sure no one ever forgot what they did.
